Renunciation of Citizenship

Renunciation of  Citizenship is  done by the Registrar Genaral's office in Zimbabwe at the Citizenship's Office.

Please note  that this process is  done in person and  a Renunciation fee is charged. 

The requirments are :

a)    Passport

b)    National Identity card

c)    A certified copy of your birth certificate

d)    A letter stating the reasons for renouncing your citizenship

e)     A letter/certificate from the German authorities indicating that you have been awarded citizenship (in English)
